Microsoft has a suite of cloud solutions to help you make the most of your IT infrastructure. These include Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics 365.
Cambay is a Managed Cloud Partner for Microsoft and offers expertise in all three cloud products. We provide cloud services to help our customers meet their business requirements and achieve value.
Azure
Microsoft Azure is one of the world’s largest cloud services platforms that combines multiple cloud-based apps to provide a unified application platform. Cambay Consulting, a managed cloud partner of Microsoft, helps businesses achieve value from their applications using Azure’s various components.
Azure offers a wide variety of cloud computing solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS). The solution also features a set of data storage options that include blob, table and file storage, plus a relational database service called SQL Database.
The platform prioritizes speed to create and deploy applications quickly, with a focus on cost optimization that shuts down unused resources and continuously configures autoscaling. Additionally, it offers security and compliance features such as Identity and Access Management and Azure Sentinel for security information and event management. It supports a wide range of programming languages and tools, including open source technologies. It is available in a number of regions around the world and can be scaled based on user requirements.
Office 365
Microsoft’s popular suite of desktop tools is available on the cloud. The solution is called Office 365 and is a Software as a Service (SaaS) model that delivers a set of applications, cloud services and capabilities for use by organisations through an ongoing subscription.
With OneDrive, your files are stored in the cloud and can be accessed from any device that has internet access. This means that even if your organisation suffers a natural disaster, you can continue working as normal because emails are saved to the cloud and files are automatically backed up.
With Office 365, you can work securely anywhere with flexible tools that go where you do. The platform offers tools to help you collaborate, communicate and share files across platforms. It also has advanced security features, including two-factor authentication and threat detection and mitigation. It is managed by Microsoft’s dedicated security teams, so you can be confident that your data is secure.
Dynamics 365
Dynamics 365 is Microsoft’s suite of intelligent business applications that transform your organization. It helps you improve sales and customer relationships, create a competitive advantage, and drive growth through AI driven insights.
The cloud provides many advantages for businesses, especially those that have to manage a large amount of data. It allows them to avoid the costly and complicated task of safeguarding their own servers. In addition, the cloud offers automated backups, so no information is lost.
Those using the cloud will also benefit from increased data storage allowances. Users can customize their own quotas based on how much data they need, and can add more space for $50 per additional 10GB. This is significantly less expensive than buying new hardware to accommodate a growing business. In addition, cloud-based instances of Dynamics 365 receive updates more often than on-premise versions. Platform updates are issued every three months, while application updates are released more frequently. This ensures that you are always working with the latest version of Dynamics 365.
Power BI
Power BI is a suite of business intelligence and reporting tools for individuals and teams. Its value lies in its ability to connect to a wide variety of data sources, and in its powerful visualization capabilities. It is also easy to deploy across a network, and can be embedded in apps and websites.
The platform allows users to clean, transform, and model data before creating reports. It supports a common data model and can refresh data on a schedule or manually. It also enables you to apply business rules and use machine learning. It is popular in departments such as finance, sales, human resources, IT, and operations.
To use Power BI, you must have the latest version of Microsoft Office installed. Click the download button below and follow the prompts to install Power BI Desktop.
